Besides being therapeutic, massages can actually increase your flexibility. According to Fitness instructor Angela Joyce, the recovery period after each stretch session is when you'll see the most results. Massaging the muscles you stretched allows them to repair better and avoid tears. In this video, she shows us how to knead our most active muscles and detect sore spots before they undergo excessive tear.
